1. Open the folder or directory that contains the program you wish to create a shortcut for.
2. Right-click on the program and click Create Shortcut.
3. This will create a shortcut named "Shortcut to <your program>" in the directory you are in. If you wish to rename this shortcut, right-click the file and click rename.
4. Once the above steps have been completed, you can copy or cut this shortcut and paste it anywhere to execute this program.

Assign shortcut key to that Windows shortcut
Once the shortcut has been created to assign a shortcut key to that Windows shortcut follow the below steps.

1. Right-click the shortcut and click Properties.
2. Click the Shortcut tab.
3. Click in the Shortcut key box and press a letter. For example, if you press "p" the shortcut key will automatically be made Ctrl + Alt + P. Which means if saved when pressing Ctrl and Alt and "P" all at the same time will run that

If you encounter issues such as an IRQ conflict or other conflicts with your hardware devices, it may be required that you change the resource values on those devices. The below information describes how to change the resource settings for hardware devices on a Windows 95 or Windows 98 computer.

1. Within Device Manager locate the device that you would like to change.
2. Double-click the device to open the devices properties.

3. Click the Resources tab.
4. Uncheck the "Use automatic settings" option (this may vary depending upon the version of windows you are running, however, it will be similar).
5. Either change the Settings based on, or double-click the resource type that you would like to change. The following is an example when double-clicking on the Interrupt Request option.

1. The device is a legacy device and requires that jumpers be moved in order to set the resources.
2. The device is an onboard device, soldiered onto the motherboard or riser board and have a set resource.
3. The device has no other available options to be changed.

প্রায়ই নেট থেকে কোনো .docx .xlsx .ppsx ফাইল ডাউন লোড করি কিন্তু ওপেন করতে পারিনা। কারণ আমি তো মাইক্রোসফট অফিস ২০০৩ ব্যবহার করি, ২০০৭ ভার্সনটা ঠিক পছন্দ হয় না। হয়তো আমার মতো এই সহজ সমস্যায় অন্য কেউ পরতে পারেন, তাই শেয়ার করা।
অন লাইনে কয়েকটা সাইটের লিংক শেয়ার করছি। প্রথমে এই সাইটগুলোর যেকোনো একটিতে ফাইল আপলোড করতে হবে তারপর কনভার্ট- বাটন এ ক্লিক করলেই ডাউনলোড করার লিংক দেবে।
১. ফ্রি ফাইন কনভার্র্ট:
এই সাইটটিতে ফাইন আপলোড করলে ফাইলটি কোন কোন ফরমেটে কনভার্ট করা যাবে তা সিলেক্ট করা যায় এবং সরাসরি ডাউনলোড লিংক জেনারেট করে। এই সাইটটি আমার বড়ই পছন্দ।
২. ডকস্ প্যাল (বেটা):
এই সাইটটির মজা হচ্ছে যে, এখানে আপনি ওয়ার্ড, এক্সেল, পাওয়ার পয়েন্ট ফাইলের পাশাপাশি অডিও, ভিডিও, ই-বুক, আর্কাইভ ফাইলও কনভার্ট করতে পারবেন। অডিও ফরমেটের মধ্যে পাওয়া যাবে AAC, AC3, AMR, M4A, MPC, MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA এবং অন্যান্য। ভিডিও ফরমেটের মধ্যে উল্লেখ্য যোগ্য হলো: 3GP, AVI, FLV, MKV, MOV, MP4, MPEG, WMV। এছাড়াও ইপিএস ফাইলকে পিডিএফ এ কনভার্ট করা যায়।

৩. জামজার:
এই সাইটটিতেও প্রায় সকল ফাইল ফরমেটে কনভার্সনের সুযোগ আছে কিন্তু এই সাইটটার একটা ছোটখাট সমস্যা আছে। এখানে ফাইল আপলোডের পর একটি ইমেইল এড্রেস দিতে হয় এবং কনভার্ট করার পর ঐ ইমেইলে একটা লিংক পাঠিয়ে দেয়। এক্ষেত্রে আপনার ইমেইলে লগ ইন করে লিংকটির মাধ্যমে ডাউনলোড করতে পারবেন।
